Craps Betting Strategies

There are many different kinds of bets that you can make in Craps. The most important bet is the Pass Line bet. This is a bet you will make each and every time the round of rolling starts. The goal here is to roll a seven on the first roll and the first roll only. After that, whatever is rolled (known as the point), is the new goal. From there, you want that same number to be rolled before the seven is rolled. When this happens, you get paid on the pass line bet. The important thing to remember about the pass line is the odds bet. After that first roll is made (as long as it isn't a seven), then you can back your initial bet to get better odds and put behind your pass line bet 3 to 5 times your first bet. If the point is a 4 or 10 then you will be paid 2:1, if the point is a 5 or 9 you will be paid 3:2 and if your point is a 6 or 8 you will be paid 6:5.

If you want to lose your money, then it is a great idea to bet on the middle spots of the table. Anything in the middle of the table is a bet that will give you really good odds, and pay out big. Remember though that there is a reason for that. It is because, those numbers hardly ever come up. Most of the time you will lose your money and in the long run you will always lose your money betting on those spots. Every little bet matters in Craps, and you do not want to waste a good bet on something like a hard 4. The outside bets are good bets to make. Those are the easiest, as you are just simply betting on various numbers to come up. Your bet stays in place until a 7 is rolled.

Increasing your Odds to Win at Craps

Increasing your Craps odds is fairly simple. Bet on the good spots such as the outside bets and you will win much more than if you bet on other spots. If the table is running good, then you will win a lot of money. If it is running bad, then you will likely lose a lot of money (depending on how much you are betting). If you are a beginner just start out by betting on the pass line and make sure you get your odds bet in there. It takes some experience to get comfortable.
